Firefly Studios is a great place to record an album. It’s full of state of that art equipment, but that’s far from what makes this place so awesome. Anyone can save money and buy nice equipment, but how they are used is what is key. Brett knows his stuff and has a wonderful ability to keep you feeling relaxed and confident about your project especially on days when things might not seem to be going the best. If you’re a serious artist and serious about recording a record COME TO THIS PLACE!!!

Firefly studios is where you can let loose and have fun recording your music. Firefly studio's under the supervision and engineer expertise of Brett has given my material a quality sound. The enviornment in the studio is very inspiring and comfortable. Also, what i like the most is even though there's alot of groups and solo acts that do recordings there i somehow feel that its my personal space. brett is a professional at what he does and is an honest business man.  I would recommend anyone who is serious about their art and wants to work with people who know what there doing to contact Brett today.

Firefly went out of their way to achieve certain effects through

utilizing their many microphones and recording processors, intent on

capturing the individual essence of each and every sound I sought out.

I had a wonderful time recording in your studio! Everyone that hears what Alex and I recorded is very excited about the songs and sounds you got for us. It was an easy environment to work in and I am looking forward to my next visit to finish the Falling Angels album. I was amazed at how well and how quickly you worked with the software.

see you next time,

My experience at firefly studios was far better than I would have ever expected.  Brett's knowledge of his equipment, and the whole process made me feel comfortable in knowing I was going to get what I wanted.  The studio guys are dedicated in what they do and help out as much as they can.  My relationship with Brett really made the recording process easy.  He was willing to give advice when I asked, and was not afraid to give me honest criticism.  As a musician who takes pride in his music, it was invaluable to get another musician's feedback.  I am definitely going back to record some more at firefly studios and look forward to working with them again.

The layout of Firefly is fantastic. Its modern colors and makes

session work fun, and they really contribute to setting a mood. Every room has its own character, and the rooms collectively give the studio an entirely original personality.

I was the first artist to track at Firefly Studios back in 2003, and I was impressed from day one.  I have recorded at a lot of studios in the northwest Ohio area, and they can't be compared to Firefly in any aspect.  You will get the best quality at an affordable rate, and you'll be impressed with how quick setup and production is.  It's a very comfortable setting.  I would recomend Firefly Studios to all artists who are trying to put together a professional product.

What Brett has done with Firefly is truly amazing. It is a prefect mix of high-end gear and capability with a strong emphasis on quality vintage

gear and analog implementation. At Firefly you can make the cleanest pop, the dirtiest rock, the funkiest hip-hop, the warmest bluegrass and anything and everything in between. The train doesn't stop there though, because the mastering capabilities are outstanding. What Firefly offers its clients is unbeatable at any price. It just so happens to also be more than affordable. In today's recording world, clients are starving for people who show a true attention to detail and who care about their clients' projects as if they were their own. This is why Firefly is so successful and will continue to grow. Brett offers this to every person he works with. After living and recording in southern California for several years now I have recorded in the highest-end studios in San Diego, Universal Mastering Studio in LA, homemade studios and a few in the middle as well as built my own home studio (with Brett's helpful advice to guide me). If I had to choose between them all to record my next project, I would still choose Firefly. It's that good. It is truly a gem and Brett is the best producer I've ever worked with. If you are going to record or master anything at all and you are anywhere in northwest Ohio, this is the place to do it, period. And if you're not careful, you might end up learning a whole lot about production along the way. Recording here is not just tracking parts. It's a fun learning experience on which a true monetary value cannot be placed.

We couldn’t be happier with our time at Firefly Studios. The staff is professional, friendly, laid-back, and works very fast and efficiently, a big plus when (like us) you basically don’t know what you’re doing. The live rooms have a fantastic sound, and the vocal isolation booth is a great touch. Their pro microphone collection and high-quality preamps are ridiculously impressive, helping our recordings sound better than they ever have before. We occasionally regret selling our souls to these guys, but with recordings this bitchin’, who cares?

Firefly Studios is good for me personally because after every visit I leave feeling that I accomplish one more step toward my goal of making music.  The sound quality of my voice sounds much better than when I've recorded other places.  Not only did they record my album, they gave me ideas (that I wouldn't have thought of on my own), which only make the songs sound better.  The hourly price is fair, but it's hard to put a price on the quality of your music.
